OSPR Hosting Two Q&A Sessions for new SMT Regulations

Updated: Feb 17, 2022

The new Spill Management Team certification regulations will become effective on April 1, 2022.

On January 19, 2022, OSPR notified interested stakeholders that they will be hosting two Q&A sessions "focusing on the new regulations and program implementation". They will hold additional sessions in March to address the online submission system for SMT applications, with details to be announced at a later date. We strongly suggest that those who will be affected by these new regulations send someone to one or both sessions in order to participate in the discussion. You can use the links below to register. If you have questions that you would like OSPR to address during the Q&A sessions, you can email them to OSPRSMT@wildlife.ca.gov.

Session 1: February 15, 2022, 1:00-2:30 PM – Register using this link.

Session 2: February 17, 2022, 9:00-10:30 AM – Register using this link.
